Do u have to know the right people to get into the big clubs in vegas & LA?

im a 21 aussie chick heading to vegas and LA. Will i be able to get into most of the clubs or do u have to know the right people? Could i get into the clubs were the famous people chill?

Basically, you aren't going to get to hang out with the celebs at clubs. They protect their privacy too much. If you don't know somebody, there's no chance you'll get into the VIP room. Keep in mind that these clubs have a number of rooms, so you might get into some clubs, but not the A-list rooms.

Obviousman鈥檚 Ultimate Guide to LA Clubs. Keep in mind that club owners continually make changes, so be aware. The general rule of thumb is to dress to impress, and try to get on the guest list beforehand.

A.D.: 836 North Highland, Los Angeles, California; Tel. 323.467.3000
A.D. is a Los Angeles nightclub for the A-lister set without the pretentious LA club vibe, rather AD seeks a low key hipster dance club vibe鈥攚hich is kind of the new mainstream LA club scene vibe, but whatever鈥攚ith the often scary meat market aspirations are left with the burley door guys. The multi-tiered AD dance club has a spot for everybody in its castlesque depths鈥攂ars, lounge friendly sofas and booths, the exclusive VIP section (wouldn't be a LA club without one) and multiple dance floors where some of Los Angeles' hottest DJs man the decks and command the masses with a steady stream of electronica, funk, house, hip-hop, disco and a measured dash of just the right '80s nostalgia rock. The bartenders at AD will keep your glasses full when you're hangin' at the bar, but schoolgirl fetishists need to grab a table鈥攖rust us.

Also, Airliner hosts live music some weekends and rewards weekday scenesters with a decent happy hour. However, the captain at Airliner doesn't tolerate the baseball cap and sneaker set, so come dressed to impress and not like you're hopping a late night gambling bug flight to Vegas.

The specialty drinks at Bar Lubitsch alone, utilizing that ever-mixable spirit, would do any Bolshevik proud as would the, uh, company attire worn by the sexy cocktail staff that probably would have been reserved for the Politburo's private functions rather than being sported by the general populace鈥攁h, communism. Also, this Los Angeles dance club lines up some good local DJs to get the Sunset and Boulevard crowds moving.

Claiming to have one of the best Los Angeles singles scenes on Main Street, Circle Bar is open every day of the year. you don't have too if you have the money but it sure will help a lot if you know a couple of those big shots.....

Vegas only at certain times of the year and weekends. If you were to go to one of the clubs on a slow night, I'm sure you could get in. LA is probably a similar scene. If you go on a slow night, you could probably get in to check it out. In either place, go earlier in the night (before 11pm) to increase your chances of getting in.

In Las Vegas, the city runs on tourists, and money talks, so getting in should not be a problem ultimately.

So why are you looking to hang out with the famous people? Just be content with yourself.

If you have the money than you are all good.
I know because some of my fellow-classmates role with money and get in every club they want.
The party in Friday night in LA and in Saturday the take the plane to Las Vegas and party all Saturday and on monday they back in LA.

I've found Las Vegas is a little easier to get into clubs than Los Angeles. If you're a cute girl, and you have the guts to go up to the door man at the front and be sweet, he might just let you in. However, he might turn you down, and then you have to do the "walk of shame" to the back of the line with everyone jeering and laughing at you.
Los Angeles is a lot harder. There are too many beautiful women, so being cute isn't such a big deal. But maybe you're cute Aussie accent will do the trick! ;)
Oh, and yeah, slipping the doorman a big bill never hurts.
