What was the adress of George W Bush?

What was the adress of George W Bush in 1950s or early 1940s. I know he used to called Compton California his home in that time. I would like to know. I want to see if that house still exist. I think its on Pine Ave. I am not sure. I am familiar with the area;however, I dont know which house is it. There are numerous of huge houses in that area and apartments. I am just curious. I searching Comptons hidding gems.

I know George W. Bush was born in Connecticut and considers Texas his hometown too.

I didn't expect to find any connections with Bush + Compton. But I researched it on Google and this is what came up:

The George Bush Presidential Library web site states that during the period from 1948 to 1951, "Bush and his family moved several times, living successively in Odessa, Texas; Ventura, Bakersfield, and Compton, California; and Midland, Texas."

Apparently, there is a photograph of George W. Bush and Robin Bush in Compton, dated December 1949.

U.S. Presidents George H. W. Bush & George W. Bush are considered "briefly residents of Compton, circa 1949-1950".


*Note: Compton was a very different community 60 years ago.


About the address; this is what I found:

"The Bushes lived in an apartment house, which First Lady Barbara described as "lovely," at the corner of Santa Fe and Myrrh, just south of downtown Compton. The building was torn down around 2002."

You're joking, right? George W Bush NEVER lived in Compton. It was never his home town.
