Should I move to Sherman Oaks or Glendale? Which is nicer and more convenient?

Should I move to Sherman Oaks or Glendale? Which is nicer and more convenient?

I prefer Glendale... Sherman Oaks is also nice, but, as with anything in the LA area, commute time to work should factor heavily in your decision. If you are working in the West Valley, the Sherman Oaks for sure. If you are working in Burbank, Santa Clarita, or Hollywood (or even Downtown), Glendale would be best. (You might also want to consider Pasadena).

It all depends. If you are Aremenian, Glendale is Nirvana on Earth. Glendale is mostly very nice. Sherman Oaks is also very nice, especially closer to Ventura Blvd. Glendale is closer to downtown LA, SO is actually part of LA, but is further.

I don't think you can make a blanket statement about which is nicer. You would have to look very closely and determine which is better for you. Both are good choices.

Glendale is more convenient .. I like it better.
Traffic sucks in L.A. so move closest to wherever you will be working.

Glendale feels like a foreign country to me because I'm not Armenian. I like them but the cultural saturation is very intense. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu_BvhLRH1Q...
Sherman Oaks is pretty far on the outside of the geographical scope for convenience.
You might consider Studio City or Pasadena...check them out. Very nice.

It depends on where you work. I like Sherman Oaks better.

I'm not sure, but heres a video on Glendale:
