What is the weather usually like in Vegas in March/April?

My friend and I want to plan a trip to vegas. What is the tempurature usually like in Vegas in March/April. We want to be able to lay out by the pool. Will it still be too cold?

You would probably be better off going in mid to late April. We go every year during our Spring Break and it is always the last week in March. It is beautiful at 70-75 degrees but it gets cool at night. In April the temperature is supposed to get warmer than March and might be more fit for sitting by the pool. We do swim during our visit, but it is still pretty cool when you get out of the water. You need a jacket at night so there would definitely not being any laying by the pool after it gets dark, you would freeze. Try for April and have fun!

During the day, it between 65 and 75. At night, it drops to the 50's.

We have been over to Las Vegas for the past 3 Easter Holidays ( your Spring Break) and the weather has been great. shorts and t- shirts during the day and maybe a jumper/sweatshirt at night. 2 years ago there were strong, but warm winds which seem to occur that time of year. Warm enough to sit by a sheltered spot at a pool.

Your response to Vegas' spring weather depends on where you live normally. Our weather can be sunny and in the 70's unless there is a storm from CA and brings in the very cold northern winds. And once the sun goes down, it is cold.

Yes, you can lay by the pool and many are heated for hotel guests (not visitors) to enjoy.
