Tips for staying at the Excalibur?

Hey, i am going with 2 friends to the Excalibur next week. Does anyone have any suggestions?
How much do some of the table games cost?
Any freebees or things to stay away from?
Thanks!

We stay at Excalibur every year, and I really think that out of all of the big hotels on the strip, their slots may not be loose, but you win more at Excalibur. Their table games go down to a $5 minimum during less busy times. During the day and really early in the morning after everyone has gone to bed. During peak time in the evening you may find a $5 table, but most have gone to $10 or $15 minimums. There are timeshare people next to the front desk everytime you leave and enter the hotel, and there are more of them once you get out to the walkway to New York and Tropicana, so you can't really avoid them, but that will give you a head's up.
Sign up for the player's card and sometimes you can get good deals on gambling and food. The more you gamble with the card, the more they will offer you.
Definitely see Tournament of Kings. It comes with a great meal and it's good for the soul. Try the Sherwood Forest Cafe for breakfast. They are open 24 hours and are located on the casino floor.

We never rent a car and always walk, ride the deuce, or ride the monorail to where we want to go. That is one of the best parts of being there. Have Fun!

sign up for the players club card, it will give your like $10 in free play on the slots. Most of the table games start out at $5 for the minimum bet. The restaurant/bar they have down in the casino has some good food, i forget the name at the moment. Also instead of taking a taxi just walk up and down the strip. its a nice walk, you can have alcohol in your hand and its free. there is a free shuttle service from one of the hotels on the north strip to the Rio they have a great buffet for a good price. Also nest to the Rio is the Palms. Have Fun!!!

The Excalibur is a nice place. Make sure you have a dinner at the cafe after 7:00 p.m. when they have a $7.99 steak special that includes veggies and potatoes. Make sure you go to see the Jousting dinner show. Make sure you ride the tram or walk the cross over to see the Luxor and then Mandalay Bay, where you go see the Shark Reef and pay an extra $10 to include a fantastic buffet.

The tables minimum, if open, are $5 and up. There are no freebies at Excalibur but I would stay away from any offer of an inroom entertainer or a free ride to one of the Strip Clubs.

If you haven't booked yet, take advantage of this special deal at Excalibur.
Rates from $51/nt. This offer includes $25 Dining credit to The Steakhouse at Camelot, Regale Sherwood Forest Cafe, or The Roundtable Buffet, 2 Free admissions to The Royal Treatment Spa & Fitness Center, and $10 Free Play w/new enrollment in Player's Club. This Expires 3/7/08. Here is the Promo Code: http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.h...

Like the previous person said, do not gamble there until you sign up for players club card. It's your ticket to freebies and their card is good at 9 other casino's on the strip.

dont go to this tourbus thing they take you to this place and talk about buying somthig for hours it just wastes your vaction time

Lemme tell you about the Sports Bar at the Excalibur:

It's amazing. You stick $10.00 into the machine and as long as you have a balance of $10.00 you get all the liquor you want free. Just keep that money in the machine and the top shelf booze is yours.

There is a bartender there named Melanie. She works nights and is amazing at making you that "special drink."

If you want to really drink one night, the best and cheapest way to do it is this way. Don't even bother with the cocktail waitresses at the machine. It's easier to sit at the bar and get wasted than deal with the cocktail waitresses. Trust me.

During the week night, you can do $5.00 blackjack.
