If you're looking for a nice apartment, we thought these were very nice and in a great location also.

a 1br is 725sf & $584 per month when we checked

These are in the South-West area, which is a nice. Most of what you want to avoid are some of the areas in North Las Vegas.

Use

for the exact location. They are conventient to both I-15 and I-215 which helps to avoid traffic

Yes there are multiple day care centers. In fact for employees at Texas Station, they have a free child care program. Even City Bank has one for their employees.

Set your Yahoo yellow pages for Las Vegas, and you will find a list. Just make sure whatever child care you use is licensed by the State/County because there are too many in-home programs that could place your child at risk.

I might suggest you also try www.lasvegasnow.com which may have information.
