At least one swimming pool at Mandalay Bay is open year round along with at least one whirlpool.

The LVA says the pool is open.

Vegas.com has the winter hours listed, from October 2007 until March 2008 as 9am to 5pm - They do not have the spring pool hours listed as of yet for MB.

Has 3 pools, 2 of which are heated and they keep at least one open during the winter.

Later: <added> I make every attempt to dispense accurate information. Yes, I am wrong on occasion, and I appreciate it when someone takes the time to point out a correction. But, when I give an answer then back it up with source after source after source including the web site of the hotel in question.

IMO it's only common courtesy to post the source of your info if you're going to give my answer a TD and tell me I'm wrong.

Thank you.

Sorry no because it gets very cold at night, even freezing during our winter

You don't really want to go swimming in Vegas during winter. It gets VERY VERY cold, so it wouldn't even be worth it.

april to labor day is usual pool season.

No, it gets cold here. You wouldn't want to go swimming right now even if they were open.

By the end of March the pools will be in full swing!
The pools in these hotels are big revenue makers for casinos so they do open them. Most people want the sun, a drink and some R & R anyway, and these operators make every effort to provide access to them.

That does not mean that the weather will be cooperative but "YES" the pools will be operational.

No. According to Mandalay's website, the pool is scheduled to reopens May 8th this year.
