Who lives in or near Vegas?

I need some tips for going to vegas, and what attractions are Kid Friendly? What attractions can my wife and I just go out and have fun? Also, are there child care facilitys?

Circus Circus and then Hoover Dam
A day at Red Rock
The springs preserve
And how about the Excaliber and the car show.

you can love it here.

Sister & brothers are in Henderson & one brother in Boulder City. Must see Boulder (Hoover) Dam! In Boulder City there is a free movie to see first. Go to the strip hotels. Excalibur, Circus Circus are great with kids. Roller coaster ride outside New York New York. Get in touch with the Las Vegas Travel Bureau to send you free literature. I think the MGM still has a 'daycare' activity place for kids but always check first. You all have fun!

I don't know how old your kids are, but some suggestions for things kids enjoy (based on places we've taken the grandkids):

The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay
The Auto Collection at the Imperial Palace
Madame Trussauds Interactive Wax Museum at The Venetian
-Note the word interactive. It's fun.
The Secret Gardens at The Mirage: Lions & Tigers & Dolphins
Stratosphere Tower: Thrill rides & great view
Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur (Dinner theater with Knights jousting)

These are free:
The Lion Habitat at The MGM Grand
Bellagio Fountains
The Volcano at The Mirage
Circus Acts at Circus Circus
Masquerade Show in the Sky at the Rio
-For a small fee you can be in the show.

These are free if you can resist temptation:
The Grand Canal Shops at The Venetian
The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace
Freemont Street. Experience (with or without the kids)

You and your wife should enjoy these as well. I know we do.

As far as child care, I know some hotels offer it, but I don't know which ones. I would suggest asking when you call (or checking on-line). Most properties are part of a chain, so if you called, say the Monte Carlo, and they didn't have it, they might refer you to another MGM/Mirage property that does.

Enjoy.

I don't live there but my dad does and i visit very often... I suggest you go to Petter Pipper's Pizza and Cirus Cirus. You'll have a fun time!
