Assuming most of the posts (questions & answers) about Israel and Israelis are written by "modern educated Muslims" should we even consider talking peace with the likes of them. sparkle
I talk apples you talk olives. After reading some of the response you have received it is easy to see your comments land on deaf ears. If these be "modern educated Muslims" then their education system has been found lacking.

edit- i like both! There's loonies on both sides of the fence. They either need to learn moderate tolerance or follow the guidelines for world peace outlined below.
It would be far less bloody if this whole thing was settled with one bad@$$ cage deathmatch. All idealogical differences settled in one afternoon. Just toss their leaders into a cage for a bare-knuckle, no holds barred battle to the death.
Winner takes the turf and the loser's followers have to suck it up and deal or get bombed back to the stone age. I don't know about you Shay but I didn't come here to communicate with them at all. When I choose to ask a Muslim a question I go to a Muslim site and generally find helpful calm well mannered people there. It is only here you find the hate spewing trash of the world.
It is hard to make friends with a Jew because you all have to be so guarded.

add. yep! uuuuuu la.......... What a strange question my dear... I believe that it鈥檚 absolutely necessary to talk more about peace in this kind of awful world we are living in and stop wasting our time with hate and useless regrets.

I really do not like it at all and I would prefer to give a better heritage to my daughter than hate, tears, destruction and war.
I am not only talking about the situation in Israel, I am talking about what happens all over the world actually.
It seems that most of us forget that we are talking about humans and human lives, which are destroyed for NOTHING.
Does this incredible hate and destruction lead humanity to anywhere (positive)?
I would say NO, because hate only creates more hate and death creates more death and it seems that mankind is not able to stop this vicious circle before there is nothing else left to destroy and nobody else left to kill...
So honestly, I do encourage these who speak peace and teach that it is possibly to live together with your neighbour without the abnormal and antihuman ideas to fight everything and everybody which / who seems to be "strange" due to our short minded point of view.
Don鈥檛 give radical political and religious ideas a chance - fight for peace, in the name of human kind and give our children a real chance to have a better life than us.
Maybe some of you think that their life is fine, because they do not have any problems and their day-to-day life is not affected and because they are so far away from conflicts and wars, but they are wrong, because it goes with ALL OF US.
Peace starts with yourself and your attitude against everybody you meet during your life.
I do not feel proud when I turn on the TV and see the actual situation in Gaza, because there is no dignity in it.
How can anybody feel proud of seeing others suffering because a bunch of crazy religious and religious leaders seem to think that this is the way things have to be now and for always in the future?
I always thought that human beings are stronger than that and I always thought that we have been given a brain to think for ourselves and a heart to be able to feel with others.
How many more innocents have to die?
How many more crazy suicide attacks have to take place in Israel to kill innocent Jewish citizens and how many times more does Israeli military and selfish politicians think that the right way to fight this is punishing thousands and thousands of our Arab neighbours to make them suffer and die?

There is no pride in killing and pride in dieing for nothing.
Because violence never has changed anything into positive.
I guess we all forget that people like Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and so many others have fought for freedom without blood in their hands and reached a pacific change.
Spreading blood of innocents is barbaric and leads to more and more hate and more and more separation... everybody should be aware of that.
I want to see my daughter grow up in a world where people can live together in peace and without having to think twice if it might be dangerous to go by a public transport or taking a plane or going to a shopping mall. And of course I do want to see her grow up in a world where nobody is beaten up and mistreated in his human rights or regarded as a second-class human being just because of being an Arab living in Israel.
I suppose that my point of view is as clear as water: There is no peace possible if we do not start to respect each other and learn that there is a way to live in peace together in one country, where everybody has the same rights and obligations.
I give a damn care if my neighbour is a Muslim, a Jew, a Christian or a Hindu or a Buddhist... I see that everybody is a human being and has to be respected as a human being.
I believe that all of us shall have the same rights and that there are so few and unimportant things which separate us, but so many things which unite us.
Who of you wants to see his children grow up in peace?
Who of you wants his children to sleep quiet and safe at night without nightmares of death and destruction?
Who of you wants his children to go to bead without being hungry?
Who wants to give his children all possible chances to make a better life than we have?
All of us I guess鈥?br>
But as long as people are not willing to open their hearts made of stone I can only predict a very dark future.
Hopefully many more people will understand that we are human beings in the first place and need to change the way we live for the sake of the future generations.
Please don鈥檛 bring up your children with this irrational hate in their hearts against others.
We can change the world if we really want it to be a better place鈥?

Shalom!!! Talking Peace is beneficial everywhere. Peace is the only way out. Without it, expect suicide bombings, destroyed towns, human right violation bloodshed and tears.
It is almost 100 years now. Both sides've tried everything except ...peace. So try to talk peace everywhere even with racists that believe that are there must be some modern and educated human beings ...somewhere!

Appeasing your enemy only makes them angrier and hungrier for your blood. Any of us being in YA is not going to bring peace. At the most we can learn from each other, read each others sources, perhaps we learn things and others learn things from us.
