Carmel or Fishers, Indiana?

Looking to move our young boys to either Carmel or Fishers, Indiana. Have heard great things about both places - any comments?

Both are great! Fishers is little more........"affordable" as far as the home market. There is a very very low crime rate in Fishers I know for sure (Have a friend that moved his family to Fishers and has been on the Police force there for several years.) Anything and everything you could need or want as far as shopping and dining are in both areas, an because they are so close together, what one may not have the other will! They also have very good school systems too.

Good Luck and hope you enjoy the area!

i Live in Carmel it is a great place to live the schools are great. I live on the border of Carmel and Westfield my son goes to westfield schools which is as great if not better better than carmel schools. They have the same academic programs just westfield is a bit smaller and is better with one on one interaction with students and parents.I know a great reaitor if you needs one and i work for a property management group in Carmel so if you are looking for an apartment i could help you with that as well.Let me know if i could help you further

if you might go to carmel i would rather move to westfield because it is smaller and i used to live there

to many people for me

Both areas are nice however Fishers can be a little more on the expensive side than Carmel. Both places have that small town charm but are only short drive into Indianapolis. Schools in both places are good as well.

Both are very close to each other and basically the same. I would choose Carmel over Fishers because Carmel has more of a family feel to it than Fishers. Oh, and better schools in Carmel. That's just my opinion.

I hear Tony Gwynn lives in Fishers. That's a reason in itself..
