Indiana town's names??

Is there a website for the state of Indiana, telling how some of the towns or cities in the state got their name???

You can find some of them on Wikipedia.com It gives the origin of the name, how it came to be named, and sometimes the meaning.
Hope that helps!

I can tell you of 2 places (because I've lived there)

Yeddo, Indiana...named after Yedo Bay, Japan (now Tokyo), don't know who named it, but it was a mining town long ago, and much larger then it is now

Veedersburg, Indiana...named after a Joseph Veeder (I think that was his first name) who founded the town, there is a scholarship awarded to high school students in his name
