Houston or chicago?

i am moving this year
i can go to chicago or houston
any advice? thanx

I live in Houston. I have moved a lot within the country and I have visited Chicago several times. The Chicago downtown is good, but that's about it.
life is expensive in Chicago, you have taxes at every level and it gets freezing cold and has heavy gust of winds. Companies are moving their offices from Chicago to Houston (BP)

Houston on other hand has no income tax, but they make it up in property and sales tax. Cost of living is cheaper (you can check it out on a salary calculator that is available on web). Weather is hot, but winters are much nicer. If you enjoy sun, love to have low cost of living and have a good job, then I recommend Houston.

i live bout 15 minutes away from chicago and i like it but i would also like houston i was never there i guess it depneds what environment u like chicago is a very busy city but very pretty

do you like hot and humid weather during the summer or do you prefer cold and snow during the winter. I have been to both cities and I would take houston any day. it is an individual prefernce.

im from houston so im going to always go with home. but i have visited chicago and i can say it is one of my favorite cities in the country. it is beautiful and culturally diverse. i actually love chicago. so i guess it would depend on your career, the cost of living and which can you deal with chicago's treacherous winters or our hot ,humid, summers.
