Here in houston tx, I understand there is a fun boat ride in the woodlands. Any body used it? pls advise? It is the water taxi. It is fun. I would suggest going at night to see Town center all lite up. It's beautiful and romantic. If you are are taking children during the day you can see the ducks, huge turtles and occasional deers. There is a water taxi at the Woodlands Mall. No, I have never used it. Check out this site: if you like boat rides...there is a free 90 minute boat tour at the port of houston. It requires reservations but it is free and educational. There are different places to board the river taxis on The Woodlands waterway. It's not the San Antonio riverwalk, but it is growing and there is building talking place. I think the boat rides are $4, but you can ride all day for the fee. You can also take your kids on a ride around the area on a trolley, which they would probably enjoy. Have fun! |
