Road test issue (Katy, TX)? |
So I took my road test early this morning. With my amazing and awesome luck, I get this typical angry African-American woman with a bad attitude as an examiner. So on my test I'm doing good (good as in safe and doing everything correct) on everything until I get to the parallel parking part of the test (had to park between 2 poles). well/good whatever. Those two words mean nearly the same thing. Who cares? I don't. I am 45 years old and have only had to parallel park 2 or 3 times in the last 30 years. I can't believe she failed you for that! I went to Rosenberg once so I wouldn't have to stand in line and they failed me for not making complete 90degree turns (which is hard to do when there were no lines on there country roads). I guess you should just suck it up and take the test again. Good Luck. When I took my test over 20 years ago. I was afraid to parallel park out horror stories others told me about hitting pole. I asked the officer if I had to do that and he said I did not have to. I still passed and received my drivers license. you are screwed by the system, nothing you can do but be pleasant next time and try joking about parallel parking and practice and practice yea shes crazy.... i went to the DA's office and i didnt need to take any parking test.... go to the one in rosenberg or wharton its super eazy Kid, you have to be less than 18 inches from a "curb" to pass the test. Period. It was that way when I took it back in 1977. Of course, not every tester makes you parallel park. The Driver's Ed teacher taught us that and one other thing (stop before the crosswalk when leaving the parking lot or you immediately fail). I parallel parked correctly and passed. Of course in 30 years I average about one episode of parallel parking per year. What a whiner. Spoiled little brat with his rant. Dude I failed my first test to but not the second. |
