Do people from south texas have an accent?

im from south texas and was wondering if we have accents...i live in cali now and somethings i saw are diff then how the pronounce here....

There are many different accents in Texas. South Texas people seem to sound more "hispanic" (Spanish speaking) than say, East Texas.

Of course to somebody from elsewhere - you'll have a very distinct accent. I am from central Canada and any Texan sounds like they have an accent to me.. but then, I would have an accent to any Texan!

Yes i think all folks from different cities and states have accents and especially in the south like Texas' Atlanta .I live up by Canada and people say i have an accent to and i think it;s wonderful as it makes us all really special of where were from and what are slang words for places.My friend lived in El paso Texas and someone from Galveston or anywhere Texas would talk with different accents and different slang for words...

Yes they do and so do all.
When I visited, I picked that style of talking; then when I visited NJ area, found it so different.
Another way of talikg and living.
