Good place to watch sunset in Houston?

Around Katy,Houston, and Sugarland area....
thanks a lot.

I'd be heading west out between Katy and Sealy. You're out on the prairie out there and there are fewer trees. I love a sunset out over the water, but the problem with Galveston is that the sun sets over land.

GALVESTON ISLAND........

In that area, probably George Bush Park, the old Addick's Reservoir.
On Westhiemer Parkway, just beyond Hwy. 6, there is a Army reserve base. Behind it is the "dam" which is a good vantage point.

On the south side of town, there are two places I like. One is at or near the Kemah boardwalk (I really like the other side of the bridge, where it isn't so commercialized). The other place is Bay Area Park (on Bay Area Blvd, east towards Red Bluff). It's a great little park where my husband and I go to canoe and feed the ducks/geese.
Outside of Houston, I really like Huntsville State Park. It's a beautiful place.
Good luck to you.

Kemah Boardwalk would be perfect!

My balcony! I see it set between the St. Luke's spire & William's Tower. Gorgeous!

I would have to say anywhere in Texas is a good place to watch a sunset. Because Texas is by far the best state.
