I would like to move to texas which are the best cities to move to? |
Were can I find a decent job at Lubbock I'm not sure. Dallas, San Antoine, and Houston I would say the Houston area. They have a town near it called Kemah. It has a boardwalk and all..very nice I moved to San Antonio, Texas from Massachussetts 3 years ago. San Antonio's economy is doing well and have lots of job oppertunities available. Austin - one of the fastest growing towns for jobs. Plus, lots of entertainment (6th street), great restaurants and a lake nearby. Depends on your job skills. Austin is tough to get a job in because of The University. The graduates tend to want to stay there. Your best bets are either Houston or Dallas. If you are a school teacher or in the medical field... anyplace you want. Houston, Dallas or Austin Houston or Austin. They are both good for different reasons. WELL I WOULD SAY THE FARM COUNTRY IS BEAUTIFUL BUT TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM SOUTH EAST..I live there and there is SOOOOO much weather. Southeast TX is a good location (Beaumont). Only an hour and a half from Houston and 45 min away from the casinos. Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio I would say Austin hands down. If I could I would move back right now, I just don't have the means. Austin is so diverse. Many different backgrounds of people, economically, racially, and spiritually. The motto is "Keep Austin Weird". Anything goes and most people love that! Many outdoor activities, great bus service, free concerts, festivals all year round(very family oriented as well as not), farmer's markets, good school, great shopping, nightlife, live music capital, the list goes on and on. The most important is there are all walks of life, and for the most part people live harmoniously together. The people make Austin great! True southern hospitality! Most are transplants from other states and even countries. AUSTIN ROCKS!!! I like baytown but it's hard to find a job Pearland,Texas the fastest growing city in the US. I think where is more big then more choices .... I just moved from CA to Houston ( was visit Dallas on last year but I did take Houston ) . Good luck . I thought the illegals took over southern Texas, good luck getting a job. why,Texas sux go to Alaska I don't like Texas but most people will tell you Dallas or Houston. I wouldn't recommend either for several reasons but see for yourself & I'm sure other users will give you their opinion as well as bash mine but I don't care!!!!!! |
