Houston airport?

We have a 4 hour layover in Houston and was wondering what the airport had to offer? Especially in the food department. I checked out the website and all I could see in the pictures is a Auntie Annes pretzel and McDonalds.
Please let me know what to expect, we will be flying for 7 hours plus the layover, so I don't think a big mac and pretzel are going to cut it!!

You won't starve, or have to live off Big Macs and pretzels.

With four hours, you have plenty of time to get on the underground people mover and go to another terminal for more food choices. You'll have to reenter security, which is a hassle.

Which Houston airport......... Hobby or Intercontinental????

I've been to both airports, and there are several restaurants inside the airport districts right outside of both, so if you're up for it, you could find something outside of the airport.

You'll find your typical food court fast-food places. Intercontinental also has a lot of restaurants, such as Pappasitos, Chilis, etc. Terminals C and E are the biggest and have the most places to eat. Get an airport map from someone at the gate and that should list all the restaurants.

Both airports have a plethora of gift shops you can poke around in to kill time.

I don't see why if it's a 4 hour layover: you can't leave & go somewhere else & come back. Airports suck donkey boners.
