Rodeo Houston? I don't get the whole ticket thing. Please help?

I know you have to but a ticket and all and I tried to buy them online but they have a list of performances. I'm not really interested in that. I wanna see the contests and stuff like that. Please help!

all of the rodeo contests are before concerts. so you have to purchase at ticket according to the contest you want to see. you have to know what day the contest is on. say you like calf roping or bull riding. you have to lookup the event schedule and purchase tickets that go with that show.the same goes for the livestock judging and to see the animals. you must have tickets to see them all

The performances are after the rodeo. You can't just buy a ticket for the rodeo part because the performances are after the rodeo! Buy whatever night you can go, see the rodeo and leave before the performance. You pay the same price either way! And your ticket gets you into the carnival!
Rodeo is my favorite time of year! It's awesome and you should go!

Your ticket gives you admission into the rodeo, which ends with a concert at 9pm. So, pick the day you want to go (Most people pick based upon the concert performer) and go early to catch the rodeo fun!

If you are interested in just the livestock show, you can purchase a one-day ticket for $7. The ticket gets you admission to the World Championship Bar-B-Que Contest and carnival during Feb. 28 - March 1, 2008, or to the livestock and horse shows & carnival from March 3 - March 22. Activities in Reliant Stadium and Wine events are not included.

They also sell a Fun Pass for $25. If you go to the show multiple times - it's the best way to go.
