Where can i stay in maui for cheap? temp.... ill sleep in a dog house if i have too!? |
Im flying into maui for a few months, for work.... i need to find the cheapest place to live and a cheap car, scooter, or bus whatever.... i will be working on the south side of the island..... im an electrician, please HELP!!!! The cheapest car rental will be a place called Word of Mouth car rentals. Their number is 800 533 5929 and they rent out some older used cars with higher mileage. Look for a place to rent in Paiai on the north shore if you're going to be there for a while. It's pretty easy to find furnished rentals or at least used furniture on the island since there are a lot of people moving onto the island and then off again later when they find out how much it really costs them to live there. south side maui is one of the the most expensive place in maui.for rentals, just go to kahului. try looking for a room-share in kihei..score if you find one around 500 bucks, but dont expect that. id say town is the cheapest place and they even have the hostels too in wailuku, a little ghetto, but they do the job. |
