Most cruise ships large enough that the movements are so subtle that the motion of the ship will not affect you. However the product Dramamine is use by many cruise goers with no problems.

Most people have no problem what so ever. If you do have a prob you can get some medicine that will fix you right up.

i went on a my first cruise a couple of years back and i was the only on in my family to get sick. i get motion sick very easy (elevators, cars, moving sidewalks even!!!!) i got some motion sickness medicine from the help desk. they have it because they want you to enjoy your trip as much as possible. and if you are feeling very yucky, try laying down on your bed on your side. it really helps.
