If there's loss of cabin pressure, what steps does the airliner captain take ensuring passenger safety ? Aside from the cabin pressure sensors tripping the oxygen drop down masks, the pilot or copilot will notify the tower that they have an emergency and are descending. This will give them clearance to descend to a safe altitude where the masks will not be needed to breathe. they drop the oxygen masks- and the airliner will decend to a lower altitude usually below 9000 feet. I don't know what you are talking about go to the doctor change to a lower altitude Masks drop automatically and the pilot hits the deck...about 9K |
