Is this health and safety over kill?

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/afp/20080205/to...

What is wrong in flipping a pancake honestly! what do you think.

Cheers.

Pancakes are deadly, flip one of those bad boys at the wrong time and all sorts of bad things can happen, Might even stick to the celling, Then fall on the floor so you have to bend over to pick it up, putting your back out, then as you stand back up crack your head on an open draw......... Deadly.......

H&S has gone way way to far.... remember being a kid and asking mum let me have a go.... Not now , no way, H&S ......

For things like that its a joke

sure is.

Ridiculous yet again, nannying by the state..

I had bananas with brandy syrup in mine..

Someone from the Health and Safety Executive was interviewed on radio last night and they had nothing to do with it being stopped.

I do so agree with you

Part of the depressing move towards US litigation culture - nobody wants to risk being sued.

I agree with you.

yes it is.

as long as it's the pancake that's getting flipped and not the pan what's the problem???

We're getting crazier & crazier.

Oh yes! I don't see why flipping a pancake is a health and safety issue.

I am all for health and safety but it is getting ridiculous now. All our British traditions are fast disappearing down the plughole due to red tape and that is a crying shame because it is our heritage and history and should be preserved. There will be no fun left soon......

There's nothing that Health and Safety doesn't stick their noses into now sparks........of course we need some Health and Safety measures but it's all going to far now.

Every one has the right to be dumb..

The only thing wrong with flipping a pancake is when it's still on the kitchen ceiling as it is up my daughter's house ! No one was hurt but our sides were 'splitting' with laughter - perhaps that's what they mean
