How do you not get dizzy when riding a bus and reading?

How do you not get dizzy when riding a bus and reading?

I've heard that if you hold up the reading material then you won't, but if so, what is the reasoning behind it?

i remeber hearing some where that this is caused by when you are moving, you feel like you aren't but your eyes tell you you are. this confuses not you but like your nerves, or some kinda thing you can't control .. and this confusion causes you to be dizzy, or get a head ache

i can't read in the car/ bus also.

What a great question, I've suffered from this ever since I can remember. I feel really sick and want to vomit if I read on any object that's in motion.

I don't know if this will work...do not stand while reading I think that the motion of the bus and the balancing act you do while the bus is in motion will cause the words to appear moving and this is causing your dizziness. Try to sit facing the front of the bus so you cannot see the buildings as you move away from them.

Yea. I'd say don't read, but if you have too. Look up at the horizon out of the front of the bus. every so often as you read, this helps me. avoid looking out the side windows at all costs!
