Is Greyhound a safe way to travel? |
I have to travel to GA from FL, on the website it said it'll be a 13 hour drive. And it's not like I've never ridden a bus like a greyhound before, but that was only a 3 hour drive and I knew a lot of people on that bus. So I'm a little scared of the idea of strangers, and bus drivers that are mad and don't need to be driving. But I just want to know from ONLY people who have ridden them recently, if it's a safe way to travel. (And by the way I'm only a 17 yr old girl.) So would it really be safe enough for me to travel by greyhound? GREYHOUND, IS SAFE TO TRAVEL ON, BUT LIKE ANY OTHER MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR THE PEOPLE IN YOUR SURROUNDINGS! JUST, KEEP AN EYE OPEN TO ANY SUSPICOUS PEOPLE ON YOUR RIDE THE SAME IF YOU WERE TAKING A TRAIN OR PLANE! GOOD LUCK AND THEY HAVE A SMELLY BATHROOM, THOUGH!!!!! should be okay, i know a 17 year old kid that went from texas to maryland last month. he came back safe and okayyy. Sure there safe, if a bus runs out of gas or breaks down they can just pull over. As for a plane, if it runs out of gas ( anyone go to Paramounts Great America ) that's "The Edge" at 32,000 feet. Sure they are safe ish, of course it is a road vehicle and as such carries a high risk of collision just like a car does, but unless you can afford to fly that is something one has to cope with. |
