Which tropical destinations have the safest water and, thus, the lowest risk of contracting hepatitis?

Due to allergies, fresh fruit and vegetables are a necessity. Even with a Hep vaccine, we would like to minimise risk when eating uncooked foods.

Ideally, we are looking for destinations or reputable resources for finding which tropical areas in the western hemisphere have the safest water.

Cuba is very safe. I have never gotten sick ever in Cuba. And just about everyone I know has never gotten sick in Cuba either. All the ice and drinking water in all the resorts are treated and made from purified water...and outside of that, make sure you drink bottled water.

But wherever you travel in the tropics, make sure you book hotels that are no less than 4* to ensure quality and safety of accommodations and food.

If you have that many concerns a vacation would not be a vacation....stay home and go to the local farmers market.
