yes it is, i just saw the articles you send me. But there are always two sides. Now i am not trying to defend the Greek governement, but in the past 5 years the number of immigrants have multiplied in great numbers. I mean there is a CHINATOWN in Athens. Greece is a small country, it cant accept so many immigrants, the economy will drop, crime and unemployment for the Greeks would go off the roof. We cant handle any more immigrants, we already have plenty.

Amount of prosititutes coming from RUssia and Ukraine coming into Athens, have doubled. Middle Easterners keep coming illegally from Turkish coasts, and Eastern Europeans come through illegally through the Northern Balkans. HOW MANY MORE CAN WE HANDLE??

Greeks have a big problem.

Greece is being overwhelmed by illegal immigrants as are many other Eurpean countries. The country may be large but it has huge mountain ranges that cannot be lived on.

Where do these people think they are going to live or work?You find them dirty and begging on the streets, the children are picking pockets in busy towns, it is bad and not Greece's fault.

As to the reports, I wouldn't believe anything that the Turkish authorities say. Look at there history with the Kurds in their own country and these people are Turkish by birth.

Although I do not challenge the authenticity of their story (sarc), I hope it sends the message to potential immigrants loud and clear: Greece is full from immigrants,cannot accommodate anymore, find another country to seek refuge.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but judging from what other immigrants already here say about Greece, it must be unbearable to live in such a racist country such as Greece.
Maybe they can try to move to Turkey or (even better the FYROM)
