For what reasons do you BLOCK people?

on Yahoo!ANSWER

I have not blocked anyone, as my thoughts are open to everyone, for criticism or discussion. I wonder why some people block others from seeing their questions and answers. Do they need to hide? Can't they stand criticism?

for unwanted advertisments

If they're trying to sack my quarterback.

Why is this in Greece Travel Section?
Blocking is all across Y!A. I block trolls and stalkers.
Stupidos too. And FYROMIANS.
And some people I just dislike, so I block them.

I usually do not like to block anyone since I like to hear other people's opinions.
I only have 1 person blocked and will stay there, since I have no time to deal with mentally ill people.

PS to FaR : You are right that YA! is not a place for hatred, but your friend that you support so openly, showed her hatred to others by using some colorful words and then she cried "abuse" yet she called other users of unspeakable names
(Wonder who is the abused and who is the abuser here, did you just join the section?)
As for the question being posted in here, this is the right place to be,so now your friend knows she cannot abuse and block others without consequences.
As for you FaR,please read history before you answer such sensitive topics, as Macedonia while claiming you are Greek, OK?
Your views do not represent those of a Greek.
Come to think of it, Efialtis was also Greek....

I usually block them if they start act badly

When I did block people it was because I was their target for many beautiful things. Now, is simply others who block me.

When they become a nuisance and try to (h)ex me!

Well, I needn't block anyone yet... Isn't it horrible that some people are so abusive you need to block them? Especially in this section, why can't everybody act like civilized people?
BTW, this thing with M.C. getting countless thumb-downs for just expressing her opinion is utterly ridiculous, and I am not saying this because of my liking/disliking towards her (obviously), but because answers in not a place for hatred and dispute...

Because, you do not want to read anymore of their abuse, towards yourself...

I am sure you know who I mean

EDIT TO FAR; THANK YOU
