Sarasota hurricanes? |
I may be relocating to Sarasota in the near future. I know the weather is pleasant during the winter and hellishly humid during the summer, but is it really prone to hurricanes and tornadoes or it is safer because it is on the eastern side of Florida? Sarasota is much safer that the East coast cities. Most hurricanes that enter the Gulf tend to track West and North. Not to say it can't happen but it's not the norm |
