how many galons of gas or how much do you think it will take to go to tampa florida from fort lauderdale florida

i have a 2004 dodge stratus

If you take the Turnpike to Orlando, then I-4 to Tampa, it's less than 300 miles. Your Dodge probably gets around 22 mpg at 70 mph. Thus, you will use less than 14 gallons of gas to cover 300 miles. If you are buying gas at say $3.25 a gallon, that would come to $45.50 for 14 gallons.

If you get better than my estimate of 22 mpg...and/or maybe drive at 65 mph, then you'll spend less.

Gallons would depend on the size of your vehicle and it's full-capacity tank. In a rented PT Cruiser, traveling 85mph it took one full tank and then a fill-up upon arrival into the city. A car that size has to have a 15-20gallon tank. Approximately, of course, lol.

It depends on the gas mileage of your car...
