What else is there to do in Lake Tahoe besides skiing in the winter? |
We're bored There's plenty to do for the adventurous and not so....for example, you could go snowmobiling. Snowshoeing by the lake is always nice. There's plenty of day spas around so you can go get a massage. Not sure if the Tahoe Gal or Tahoe Queen are running, but if they are, you can tour the lake by water. There's a few casinos around so you can go gambling. At night, you can take the tour at the Cal-Neva (call to confirm). Frank Sinatra used to own the hotel/casino until he pissed off his mob friends and had his license revoked by the Nevada Gaming Board. Marilyn, Kennedy and the Rat Pack used to congregate there. Cool tour. Reno is 45 minutes away, so there's a bunch of other gambling options. Also, a brand new Cabela's opened on 80 at Exit 4 in Nevada, about a half hour from North Lake Tahoe. If you've never been, you should go. Gamble. |
