I have around 9 days to with me and would commence and end my trip in Basel. Which should be ideal plan.?

I would love to include a stretch of glaciar express in between. Please suggest me proper itinerary.
My tentative plan is. Basel-Zurich-Lucerne-interlaken-Zermatt-... Moritz-Basel. But i am not too sure its ok. I am not too sure if i should include Montreux or not.

1. day: Start your trip in Basel. Go to Fondation Beyeler Musum near Basel, in Riehen (Tram). Go back to Basel and see the old town at the Rhine river (both sides). Take the train the same day and go to Zurich. Have dinner in Hiltl, best veggie in Switzerland. 2.-5. day: Take the train, preferably 1. class to St. Moritz. See the whole area of Engadin. You don't have to stay in St. Moritz. I prefer Pontresina. Engadin is the most beautiful place in Switzerland. Now a long trip by train: 6.-9. day: Go to Montreux. See Chateau Chillon and the whole area at the Leman Lake (Geneva, Lausanne and all the other places). From there you can make a day trip to Zermatt.

This is what I would recommend.

....

Personally, I prefer the above mentioned locations to Lucerne. If you choose to go to Interlaken you have to go to Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe. However, for me personally Engadin is much more beautiful than the Interlaken Area

Enjoy Report It

Well it is so easy to travel you can go straight to Zermatt, and meet up with fellow travellers in the YH and then do the Davos, Moritz, Bienne, and the famous 3 Lake boat trip on Sunday from Morat to Bienne dep. 2pm arr. 5pm with LIVE music and dancing ! That boat, and Zermatt, are the best !
Welcome !
