How to cross from Spain to Morocco or Spanish city in Morcco?

I want to take a rental car from Algeciras or Tarifa, Spain onto a ferry to Ceuta or Tangier. How would I do that? Do the ferry companies check the rental contract before they allow the car in?

Well I did not know if the ferry gives people a hard time crossing with rental cars. I heard some do it, but was wondering if it was a specific ferry or what. Do they check the contract for your name and vin# or do they sit there and read all your terms and conditions.....see? I just know that renting in Spain is SO much cheaper than Morocco

First you must contact your car hire company to make sure that麓s okay. You can take a hire car into France, though I believe you have to pay extra insurance. It is easy enough to get the ferry. They sell tickets all down the motorway for the ferry crossings. If the ferry companies don't check your hire contract the police may very well do so on the otherside. There have been terrorist problems recently in Morocco. Ceuta differs from Tangiers. Ceuta is a Spanish colony whereas Tangiers is in Morocco.

it is soooo easy. to take a car, you can can go to any bus station which will have info on ferrys. to go yourself, you just have to get a ticket with a bus which you can get at a bus station which are normally next to train stations and buy a ticket to the city you want to go to in Morocco. the ticket includes a ferry that will go to over to Morocco and another bus will pick you up at the drop off spot and take you the rest of the way. this can also be done with train but the bus is a cheaper option and seems to be better.

anyways, just go to one of those bus stations that go from city to city.
