Has anyone been on holiday to Marbella, if so could you recommend a good Hotel. Must be at least 4* Thanks.? |
Thinking of going there for summer hols , but if you can recommed something else in Spain that would be great, PS not Benidorm there are a few near me just north of Marbella in an Urbanization called Elviria Las Chapas, t he best being the DON CARLOS, 5* and the Marriots beach club, both being about 10mins from Marbella with a superb beach and next door to the world renouned Nikki Beach The Hotel Monteros is an exceptional hotel close to Marbella. It isn' cheap but it is a classy hotel. As someone else said, the Don Carlos is a good hotel and probably more affordable. One of my favourite restaurants is close by. It is called Los Papagayos (The Parrots). |

As Selina says, get a good lawyer (abogado) before you do anything over here. Don't sign anything or hand over any money, leave that for your lawyer to handle. The laws over here are complex a... no unspoilt areas I am afraid it as all been done before try CALALLEA OR PINEDA only 20 mins by train to barca nice beaches and quieter than lloret and blanes plenty of good hotels. costa dor... Partly depends where you live in Spain but generally school starts at 8am so quick breakfast and a usual rush to catch the school bus; mid-morning break then lunch around 1pm; finish school around ... Its not cruel,they dont actually put bulls against each other but release bulls into a ring with a bullfighter with a red sheet(bulls are sensitive to that color) that he holds and makes the bull c... the Costa Del sol is beautiful loads of lovely beaches and glorious scenery , mijas is a must see if you ever get to go there , all along that coastline is ... I haven't run myself, but I have gone...It's a blast!! However, if you ARE going to run, please DO NOT stay up all night partying! The locals who run go to bed early and are up early si... the weather is very warm then-salou is buzzing theres something for everyone and the beach is lovely too-strange thing i noticed tho when i was last there... most of the cash machines had been jemm... There are lots of things to do... But more than ex-pats american, you will find a huge amount of ex-pat brits. I married a spaniard, and have lived here for nearly 36 years!
