Weather in Ireland in March? |
I'm going to ireland for paddy's weekend and am going from holyhead does anyone know if the ferry's will sail? make sure u pack a raincoat lol cause no matter what time of year u come here u can expect to see some rain. Your guess is as good as mine.....if the weather is bad they won't be sailing. The weather in Ireland is wet. So is the sea between Hollyhead and the floating bog known as Ireland. shud do yea It's unusual for the Irish Ferries to be cancelled and by mid March the weather will be a lot milder so it's probably a safe bet that they will sail. Enjoy your weekend in God's own country, wish I was going with you. The ferry will sail , you will end up in temple bar , you will enjoy , you will buy silly leprechaun hat , you will drink Guinness and you will meet a nice Irish boy who will show you his blarney stones. Too early to say. I've seen the ferries not sailing in the middle of summer when the weather turns bad. it shuould unless threres a rowdy brit crowd on only joking come on over for the craic yahoo might cancel this answer for using craic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've often gone home from Holyhead in March, only to find the ferry delayed, cancelled or "out of use for annual maintainance". While it's unlikely they will cancel it for maintainance around Paddy's day, it can be a wild and windy month. Even the big Irish Ferries Ullyses can't sail in storm-force gales. Weather in March tends to be wet but that all...no major storms etc..boats should sail no bother.. it rains alot and then there is a rainbow fo a half hour and then more rain. visit the north before the left wing peaceniks get rid of the peacelines and part of irelands culture is lost for good. yea, b4 i went from dere and it was quite bad weather but dey can sail. You should be grand - and once you get here you wont worry about the weather, just how far you are away from the bar |
