Resons for the confederation (Canadien)?

NEED HELP NOW

Hahahahaha, you're incredibly immature. Typical.

How old are you, anyway? 12? Generally, sensible people don't express extremely STUPID nationalism. And learn to use commas, for God's sake. It hurts to read that clump of words.

Anyway, to answer this question: Canada had many reasons for Confederation.

1) Fear of an American attack.

The Canadian provinces were originally colonies of Britain. Britain had supported South USA in the Civil War, and the colonies were afraid that the hatred felt towards Britain would transfer over to them. They felt that if they joined together, they could better protect themselves.

2) Fear of the Fenians.

The Fenians were an Irish-American brotherhood who moved to America to escape Britain's rule over Ireland. They thought that by attacking and killing people living close to the border, they could somehow force Britain out of Ireland. Again, the colonies thought that by joining together, they would be able to protect themselves better.

3) To pool resources and build a railway.

A railway joining the colonies would be very beneficial. The colonies, however, did not have enough money to build railways on their own. By joining together, they could put their money together to achieve this.

4) To eliminate tax tariffs.

A tariff is a tax placed on imported goods. Each colony sending goods to another colony had to pay this tax. By joining together, these tariffs would be eliminated, and everybody would benefit.

hahahahahaha Canada sucks...USA,USA,USA,USA !
