How much is child care in canada and how good is the education systhem?

child care is reasonably priced it verys with each province its cheapest in quebec and the school systems are accually prety good

WELL, THE EDUCATION MUST BE BETTER THAN WHERE YOU ARE FROM....IT'S SPELLED SYSTEM.

If you look at the global figures Canada comes in at #4 for education, the USA comes at around #38. So it's much better.

I'm not sure why people keep bringing up the USA when they are answering questions like this one. The education system in Canada is ranked #4 in the world according to the last study done. However, there is no indication that you are from USA, so there is no need to compare their stats.

What I can say about the Canadian education system is that it is quite good, does not focus just on Canada but tends to try to get you internationally savvy.

When I was in school (many many years ago!) we studied Canadian history as well as how international events have affected us.

In Quebec, we learned French (as well as English) from grade 2 all the way to college level, helping us in both the Quebec society as well as many european countries.

Modern schooling has changed somewhat and may have different ways for measuring student aptitude, but my nieces and nephews and godchildren all are quite well educated and well rounded individuals, so they must be doing something right.

The only thing I don't like in modern society is less of a focus on proper phrasing and spelling. Text messaging and such have reduced the requirements and degraded the language, in my opinion.

child care can range from expensive to okay. my sister in law was looking into day care for her daughter and it was going to be about 500 a month in some places. (ontario) but in New Brunswick it was much less. However my cousin who is in day care is in a higher end type day care and her mother pays about 1000 a month.
The education system i find it good. Having only finished with in the last couple years i find the government is making great strides to make the students do the best they can. There are tests taken every couple grades that have to be passed or you have to continue taking those tests till you pass them or else you will not recive your diploma. this shows teachers and parents where your children need help the most. ontario i know you dont have to pay for your schooling (elementary and high school....College and university still you have to pay but thats another story) where as i know in other provences you have to pay a price per child per year.
everything differs from provence to provence so its a matter or where you are going to go.
