Where to party in Brazil?

Hi,
I am in Brazil from tomorrow. I want to know where to go for the biggest parties. I will be in rio over new years and already have accomodation for that. I need some places to go on route from sao paulo to rio. Preferably coastal.

Im thinking of heading straight to paraty. Maybe even Ilha Grande. What do you think?

Also, do you think buses will be as frequent on Christmas Eve?

I lived and worked in Trindade near Parati.You can always find people partying there.llha Grande may be good too.I've never been on the island at this time of year though.Both are great places,lots of people on vacation ... Have a good time!

Ilha Bela is a great option, the infrastructure is better than Parati's. You should also check out Ubatuba, they have great night clubs.
