What city would you choose to reside in if you moved away from Detroit?

Or what city do you reside in after moving from detroit?
And why?

DC! I love it! I don't regret moving for a single minute! It's 57 and sunny today!

umn prolly Jersey City, New Jersey!!!
thats where I live and it is a wonderfull place!!!!

Duluth MN!!

What boring answers Duluth and NJ. I would move to Amsterdam Netherlands or Taormina Italy. Amsterdam because of the spectacular history and culture. Taormina because its one of those places that life slows down and the views are incredible. But for now Detroit is home.

If I could wing it I'd move to Ironwood Michigan. It's a nice small town, real estate prices are low, and no crime. The drawback would be dealing with the many feet of snow, and cold winters, but it still beats 117 degree desert heat.

Well I took the plunge and left the motor city 11 years ago and I have never looked back. I moved to Sunny Destin FL and it is great down here.. Warm sunshine, the most beautiful beaches in the world, Great sport fishing, and great people. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING could make me ever want to move back to Michigan. I still root for my home teams but you can keep the 5 months of gray skys, Ice storms, subzero temps, Greedy Unions, and scummy intercity mentality. So if you are like I was in grew up in Detroit and the farthest place you had ever gone was Canada, do yourself a favor book a trip to Europe see the world and expirence what life has to offer.

My ultimate choice would be either Chicago or northern Virginia.
Right now i live on the gulf coast of Mississippi because it was most convenient for me, but i will eventually move to one of the two if i don't find myself coming back to Detroit.

NYC- that's where I'm heading this summer!

I left out of there last Aug, moved to Las Vegas and never looked back.

Detroit. I moved to Dallas for two years and had to come back to Detroit. And I never looked back!

San Diego Ca.

I am moving to Vegas.. mainly because I can't stand the snow anymore but there are more jobs in Vegas and the city is more exciting!

I cant believe some of the answers I'm hearing,
I mean come on, Vegas, San Diego, all these stupid overly glamorized places that are so expensive, overrated and full of snotty people who feel plastic surgery is the way of life?
The most logical answer i heard on here so far is Chicago, new Jersey and and places like Amsterdam, which at least is fun.
If i where to leave the area, i would go to Virginia, maybe Maryland, Chicago sounds like a good idea.

LOUISA,KENTUCKY!!! It is nice and BEAUTIFUL THERE!!!

I moved to Georgia from Michigan and although I do miss Michigan, there is more oppotunity in GA then in MI.

Port A Prince, I'd like to up grade my surrondings.
