Stereo Detriot person?

what would u say is the "stereo type" of a detriot person, and also what are some words they use there that stands out from other states!! thankz!!!

its no such thing as a "detroit stereo type", and yes "What Up Doe?" is detroit lingo, but, I've never heard of a city having a stereo type but if it was a such thing, i guess detroit would be bums, crackheads, and killers, but that cant be a stereotype, because i see them 24/7 in detroit, all day, everyday.

"wuddup dawh?" lol jk. There isn't any real "lingo" i know of in the D, but what I've noticed is that most people wear Detroit sports team wear; Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and Pistons.

umm well i dont know about like. detroit hoodrat stuff if thats what your looking for.. but we can play euchre, and we know what paczyk are who makes the best.. (only a couple weeks yay!).. we do say words differently from west coast though. words with "o"'s in them are pronounced cahpy (copy) mahm (mom)... to us the west coast way sounds like cuppy and mum.
Its not as strong as eastcoast, but its different from westcoast.

I know we say "pop" instead of "soda". I've gone to other states and asked for a pop and they don't get it.

...being a person who moved away from the Metro, most people seem to think Detroiters are scary and dangerous. Many believe we all are hateful, and tend to look down on us. That's the bulk of my personal experience. Of course I've also had the opposite reaction, but not very often.

When I think of Detroit I think of people who aren't farmers wearing Carhart jackets and Red Wings boots.
