For the most part Denmark consists of flat land with almost no elevation. Its average height above sea level is only 31 meters (101 feet) and the highest natural point is M酶lleh酶j, at 170.86 meters (560.6 ft).The country is drained by a dozen or so rivers, and the most significant include the Guden, Odense, Skjern, Stora, Susa and Vida - a river that flows along its southern border with Germany.
The longest river in Denmark is the Guden at 160 km, (99 miles) in

Sj忙lland, Fyn, and Jylland (prounounced in English like "Zealand," "Foonen," and "Jutland.")

Sj忙lland is westernmost formation of close islands, surrounded by the Baltic Sea. Sj忙lland is where the capital, Copenhagen, is located.

Fyn is in the middle; it's chief city is Odense. It is surrounded by the Baltic Sea.

Jylland is easternmost, bordering Germany to the south, the North Sea to the west, and Baltic Sea to the east. Jylland's chief cities are Aarhus and Aalborg.

These are the major landforms of Denmark.
