Where are the trendy, young, bohemian areas of Denmark? |
I'm a Canadian thinking about working there or in Iceland during the summer. I just need some information to try to figure things out. Also, what kind of jobs/reception might a foreigner expect? Agree with john mike, Christianshavn is THE place for Bohemian to have fun and fit in, if you're in Kopenhavn. Christianshavn - popularly known as "Little Amsterdam" on account of its Dutch-style canals and gabled houses is now one of the inner city's most relaxed and bohemian areas, and is also home to the "free city" of Christiania, Copenhagen's famous alternative-lifestyle community. Go and look at this link: http://recruit.peoplenetwork.dk/ It is very unlikely you can work legally in Denmark or Iceland without a European passport. |
