How to get from Norman OK to DFW Airport?

I need to get from OU in Norman Oklahoma to DFW airport on March 15. Anyone know of a reasonably inexpensive way to do that, i.e., a train, a bus or something else? TIA!

The cheapest and quickest way would be to take Amtrak from Norman to Ft. Worth ($31 per Amtrak.com) then take the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) to DFW. TRE stops at Centreport station ($1.50) which has free bus shuttle service to DFW.

I wouldn't do the bus, it's a 11+ hour ride (combined Greyhound and DART) and it costs more.

David's plan looks good but you should be aware that the TRE does NOT run on Sunday. For your trip to DFW that wouldn't be an issue, but I mention it just in case you're returning on a Sunday.

Just for clarification you actually have to take TWO shuttles from the TRE CentrePoint/DFW Station to get to your terminal at DFW:

> Amtrak to T&P in Fort Worth
> Trinity Railway Express to CentrePoint/DFW Station
> Free Shuttle to DFW Airport Remote South Parking Lot
> THEN the Free Shuttle to Your Terminal (A/B/C/D/E)
