Im thinking of visiting Cork...whats it like????

Not really interested in historic buildings,tourism areas and all that stuff!! More intereted in having a good time

Im actually from Cork.....its a nice place!!! The only thing is the nightlife isnt great-they'res a fairly large choice of nightclubs/bars but none of them are what u would see in places such as London/NY etc.
Still though nice place,nice people and a guaranteed good holiday

I think Cork is a great city for a good time, it's got lots of bars and with two third-level colleges, a very healthy student life, which means a very good nightlife. Lots of nice friendly restaurants and cafes too. Great arts scene, and plenty of gigs too.
