Stuff to do in cleveland ohio? |
we're going to be in Cleveland Clinic all day tomorrow waiting for someone to get out of surgery...We're from Wisconsin so we're not familure with the area. We want to go do something fun but cheap...Any suggestions? I was really wanting something a bit more cheap...I have to pay for 7 people * The Cleveland Museum of Art http://www.clevelandart.org/explore/ Roch n roll hall of fame is there its not too expencive and you might not get back to Ohio anytime soon so go and cheak it out go to little italy for a cheap but good lunch or dinner. there is also tower city which is a shopping center so its free unless you would like to buy something. now i am naming things that are cheap but there are other things to do that arent cheap. i hope tht person does good in the surgery! cleveland clinic is very good! 1st be sure to avoid Euclid Ave. it is all torn up. Someone suggested going to Little Italy that sounds good or you could drive up the hill a little more to Cleveland Heights and explore Coventry they have a lot of affordable restaurants as well as some places to window shop or just hang out. Unfortunately our Art Museum is under construction like the rest of the city or you could go there for free most of the day. They may have an exhibit but I am not sure if its free or not. Either way before you go anywhere double check because like I said there is a lot of construction going on. My best to you and your family, hope the surgery goes well. I would head to the West Side Market. It's the largest indoor/outdoor fresh market bizarre in the nation. It is awesome! It is also a very quick, straight shot from the Clinic. You can make it a shopping experience (it's all cheap, even cheaper if you have someone who likes to price-dicker in your group) or you can just wander and take in all the interesting vendors with a cup of coffee. Their address is: 1979 W 25th St, Cleveland, OH 44113 |
