Any suggestions would be appreciated!!? |
Okay our anniversary is this weekend and we are planning on going out tonight to celebrate. Normally, I can come up with a million and one things I would like to do or eat, except today! We live in the Northern Kentucky area (close to Crestivew Hills, Florence, Erlanger area) and would prefer to stay on this side of the river but will consider immediate Cincy downtown area to. I know it. We thought about going to Belterra, but unfortunately we have an appointment tomorrow at 11 am so it is hard toget back and forth in that time. I guess it does sound sorta like a cheap night but since anniversary falls so close to Christmas and Valentines Day, consessions have to be made somewhere. We are going to go to Myoshi for dinner and then wing it after that! I'll report on Monday if we found anything really fun or made money! LOL! Man Trace, you know the City as well as I do, so I dont know how much Ive got to offer! And you know your side of the river better! Anyway, I am with you on the cold, and this had me stumped for a while, given that you dont want to come very far north. So, here is what I thought of- dinner someplace, probably at one of the places at the Levee, and then head on over to Indiana and do some gambling at one of the Casino Riverboats. Then you're inside and you can have a little fun, anyway, without going too far outside of the area you wanted to stay within. Are you a gambler? Ah well, thats the best I can do I think. Anything you do will be better than what my wife and I did for our 9th earlier in January, which was nothing (it was a work night). Keep in mind night racing at Turfway is on Friday. Sat is during the day I hope you figured everything out. My suggestion would have been to stay inside and keep her warm. It is too damn cold outside! A good dinner would have been the way to go. Outback has carryout! |
