Entering China through HK..visa questions?

I am holding a US passport. I already got my tourist visa here in the states with only ONE entry.
Q1:If I fly to Hong Kong and then take bus from HK to mainland cities, do I need to apply for a new Chinese visa in HK? (I am assuming HK authorities would cross one entry from my visa, and therefore I will have to get another one???? True??)
Q2: At HK airport, can I take a train or bus to Shenzhen/Guangzhou airports? How much does it cost? And how long will it take?

Thanks.

@gustabares, I was told there is bus service from HK airport to SZ(Shengzhen) airport. But i need some details like where to take the bus, schedules and immigration procedures at HK&SZ border...

You will need a separate visa to get into china from hong kong. You can obtain one at the border, as long as you have all your papers and there are no anomalies you will be given an entry visa.

Not sure about the trains or bus through shenzen, i've never been and i usually take a plane to beijing or shanghai...

Im doing a trip like that in november. I already got my plane tickets to HKG and for what I know, HKG doesn't requires you a visa eaven tough it's part of china. I assume they will cross your entry once you get to Guangzhou.
if you find out about the bus or train fron HKG please let me know it will help. Also try this link, it might help.

If you have a US passport, you don't need a visa for up to 90 day stay.

You can obtain a separate visa for China as you entering the border.

You will have to apply for another visa for China

You can apply for a chinese visa directly in HK, from the China visa service, or from any CTS branch. It takes about 3 days but you can get it the same day if you pay an extra fee. It is actually still faster and cheaper to get it in HK than in the US.

From HK airport to cities in Guangdong Province, check the link below for bus schedule and fares.

Q1: China visa are ONLY for MAINLAND China. This EXCLUDES Hong Kong and Macao. You do NOT need a visa for HK or Macao with a USA passport. HK immigration will even not look at you China visa. So you don't need any new visa and can relax.

Q2: There is plenty of bus, and some ferry transport from the HK airport to China. Check the link for all details. Cost is about HK$100-300, depending where and how you go.

>>You can obtain a separate visa for China as you entering the border.

This is false and bad information! USA passport holders can NOT obtain visas at any China border.

Added: If you go the Shenzhen Airport I suggest you take the ferry to Fuyong from the Skypier at the HK Aiport. Fuyong is right next to the Shenzhen Airport and there are free shuttle busses.

Cooltron is correct. The Chinese visa you have will not be affected when you enter Hong Kong. If you plan your arrival in Hong Kong during the day then you can Get a ferry to the mainland and not even go through customs in Hong Kong at the airport.
