Is Shanghai an exciting city to live in? Is there as much art, culture, & nightlife as I imagine? |
Not that you can read my mind. shanghai is on the top of my list, been there, stayed there, lived there........its got everything including the nightlife that you seem to desire - although beers are very expensive hehe.....pudong is quite a modern district and this contrasts with puxi which is old......but the architecture is nice and i would live there any day ............but the shanghainese are not typical of chinese....many of them came to shanghai from all over china......if you want to see the real china then you need to experience other cities and provinces......my favourites are shandong (jinan/qingdao)........fujian (xiamen).......and some of the poorer provinces such as Anhui........but i've also been to Hubei, Henan, Hunan, Puyang...........and also Hong Kong -but I dont consider Hk to be real chinese Shanghai is the best city in China. You will have all, please bring a lot of money if you want to go there. |
