How is silk is manufactured in China today? |
I am doing a project in History for lots of extra credit! I am looking for answers! Same as it has been traditionally produced for centuries, but in larger scope and more modern tools. Just google "silk production china" and you will have more information that you will need to do your project. Check this website: You can just google it. A vast information is out there The same way as the old days but better technology I went to the silm market and they had a demonstration of the silk process, which you will see on the website others have suggested. I can add one thing though, it really did smell bad, it was a horrible smell. I was quite shocked to see the worms, they were alive at the start and the process killed them, so I don't know if that is what caused the smell, but it was nasty |
