where are the gangs and what are they

In Chicago, the gangs are divided into two different sets- Folks and People, kind of like the Bloods and Crips in LA. There are way too many gangs too list but here are a few from each set:

People: Latin Kings, Blackstones, Vice Lords,

Folks: Gangster Disciples, 2-6, Satan Disciples

Gangs are eveywhere, city and suburbs included. Little Village, the southeast side around Calumet Park, most of the west side and Rogers Park on the north side have alot of gang activity. Aurora, Berwyn and Cicero also have a high level of gang infestation.
